All Trips Include

Delicatessen style meals, with salads, deli style Kaiser bun (sandwiches), vegetables, snacks, a variety of fruit, desert and non-alcoholic beverages are provided to keep you comfortably hydrated and satisfied throughout the trip. Any special preferences or necessities you may have for dietary requirements will certainly be taken care of. We will provide you with a basic menu consisting of a variety of choices but please feel free to clarify specific preferences and we will do our best to satisfy your requests.

We out source our culinary menu options through deli specialty shops that only carry the freshest-choice meats, produce and specialty seafoods. This allows us to source and purchase a variety of fresh, luscious and delicious food selections from all the five healthy food groups. We slice and dice the food right out on the stream for you keeping the menu very versatile. This also allows us to provide a fresh deli style smorgasbord that our clients can pick at all day long. This service is a favorite that all our clients rave about. We suggest you provide us with your favorite food choices and we then out source them and put together, a feast fit for a king or queen. The slicing and dicing right out on stream also allows us to include or leave out any garnishes, dressings or spices based on individual preference and we can add your preferred garnishes and spices right out on the river at mealtime.

Not Included

In the price of any of our trips is the 5% G.S.T., angling licenses, flies and the gratuity for your guide. Stream Weaver flies can provide any actual fishing gear that you may require for your trip. However, waders and Boots if they are required will have to be rented at a local fly shop. If you don’t have your own wading gear, you will have to contact a fly shop in town that rents this gear the night before your trip or on the morning of the trip. If you insist you have no other alternative and are really pressed for time, we will do our best to get you wading gear with no promises on fit or comfort for obvious reasons. We don't provide wading gear because of the variety of sizes required for proper fit.

Gratuities

Although not an obligation, it is customary to tip your guide upon the completion of a job well done. An old proverb states: "Well done is better than well said." Please remember to bring some cash on your float trip in case you feel your guide is deserving of a tip. Ordinarily most tips given to good guides usually run somewhere “between” $50.00 - $75.00 (US) a day. This is a safe place to begin for a reference on tip etiquette. A few things to keep in mind when considering tips is the duration of your float, extra efforts the guide puts out, how much you learned on a trip, if you caught a special fish and your level of enjoyment.

Client Airport Shuttle Service

For our own clientele fishing destinations other than the Bow River that require some extended travel our outfit will provide a shuttle service from either the Edmonton Airport or the Calgary Airport. This service is for anglers who don't fancy the service of rental vehicles our company will provide transportation including the return trip to the airport on your day of departure for a set fee of $150.00(CDN).

The fly fishing schools we run are not pre-scheduled we allow interested individuals or corporations to book at a time that suits their schedule or safety/awards programs. The programs we run are usually limited to one through three participants intentionally. Over the years of running these schools participant feed back has been unanimous that limiting class size really personalizes the experience. The small class size allows the students to experience plenty of personal attention throughout the program and supportive hands on guidance during practical exercises. Our instructors also feel the participants get the best value for money and transference of knowledge as well as physical help with the mechanics and physical skills involved in this new world of fly fishing.

Feel free to phone, fax or e-mail our shop at anytime to participate or purchase a school for a friend, relative or spouse. The shop also has gift certificates available for customers to give as a gift for Christmas, Birthdays or awards to corporate employees. The certificates can be made out so an individual can attend one of our schools or for a gift or in any dollar denomination you may wish to give for any individual or section in a work place. Many of our schools usually involve small groups consisting of a father and son, husband and wife, corporate colleagues or a few fishing buddies. This really allows the participants to feel comfortable and relaxed allowing each individual to really enjoy and get the most out of our programs.
